Tucked away in a side area east of Mesa, on a road I've only known as the way to get to the Renaissance Faire is this local restaurant. We arrived about 9:30AM on a Saturday and were seated immediately. Restaurant was clean, decorated with local photographs and misc art. Our table had military logo decor and (I think) local advertisement and it wobbled a bit. Service was above average. Restaurant was not busy when we got there but it picked up and slowed down again. Our waiter was attentive but not intrusive. Water and coffee remained full and our order was exactly as requested. Food was hot and arrived quickly. The chicken fried chicken was delicious. Bigger than expected so I had to take half of it home. Originally we came for the biscuits because one of my girlfriends said they were huge and fluffy. The biscuits were tasty, but only half the size she had made them out to be. Overall, great tasting food, above average service, comfortable place to grab breakfast. I'd be willing to try it again. 4+ stars

Rock solid! Great sandwich! Be back when I need a taste lunch. Bs that I'm forced to type a minimum #of xxxx

The food was hot and fresh, (especially the french fries!) and our server was prompt and friendly.

We have eaten at GCC several times, and it has been decent as they serve comfort food, and provide decent service. Their prices have seriously skyrocketed at a rate higher than many of the places we frequent. Thus, the costs for value received are taken into account. There is nominal ambience and very clean. Parking can be frightening during the "Snowbird Season" due to the seniors who cannot park straight or our wearing darkened wraps...it goes with the age group.

Great food for the price and wonderful service. Biscuits and gravy were great with enough gravy for once, biscuits soft and light. Portions are large. Good comfort food. Their mimosas are great too!

Nestled off of US-60 in Gold Canyon is where you will find this cozy and comfortable cafe. Choose from a variety of fine foods, offering breakfast and lunch. Breakfast options are reasonabl-priced and generousportions, served fast by a friendly staff in a lively atmosphere. Enjoy!

This was my first time here and I came with a bunch of my Golden Vista Resort neighbors for a lunch get together. Our waitress had the tables all ready for our large group and that scored high with me. She gave us a few minutes to look over our menus and got drink orders taken and filled. We all soon ordered and we all chatted as she brought out our drinks. The raspberry iced tea here is AMAZING and has the best flavor! Several of us got that. For lunch, me and one of the other ladies ordered the Taco Salad and it was HUGE! You definitely get you money's worth with this meal! I will have to come back and try their breakfast items!

Ever since Red Sage Restaurant went out of business near the economy crash in 2008, I've been at a loss for amazing biscuits and gravy. Many places have great gravy, but don't make their biscuits or great homemade biscuits with okay gravy. I stopped by this location a few times, and chatted with a waitress I recognized that used to work at Red Sage. She said that the biscuits and gravy was the same recipe, and I cautiously ordered hoping it truly was as I've spent years on the quest for good biscuits and gravy! I am happy to report... this is the same recipe and my all time favorite biscuits and gravy! If you aren't in the Gold Canyon area, make the drive out to try these biscuits and gravy & enjoy the beautiful views of the Superstition Mountains. Writing this review has now motivated me to make a trip myself to have! Yum!
